Classic Wallabies Matt Cockbain, Lote Tuqiri and Morgan Turinui will conduct a coaching clinic for Japanase Students in Ebetsu on Thursday 19 September. 60 rugby players from Ritsumeikan Keisho Junior High School, High School, Oasa High School, Nopporo High School, and Rakuno Gakuen University will take part in the clinic. The coaching clinic is part of a series of sessions that will be held throughout September and October in Japan, including the session at the Classic Wallabies vs Classic Japan match at Musashino Athletic Stadium on Saturday September 28. The session is a joint initiative between Classic Wallabies, Rugby Australia, Australia Rugby Foundation, Australia Japan Foundation and Australian Government.
